I'm not sure if this is a Jellybean thing or not but i'm pretty sure on ICS the ringer and notification volumes were linked but now only pressing volume up effects the ringer. Anyone know a trick how to link them?

I was ready to do it on this phone but don't seem to be having any issues.
How do you do the hard reset? Does it wipe all data?

I cleared the cache (once I figured out how), and now it's running at least as smooth as it was before. No more delay of the circle clocks and icons after exiting dolphin/chrome, and much smoother transitions from screen to screen.

Did anyone else's sleep animation change?

Like when you press the power button, does your phone do the old TV style turn off, or does it just go to black?

Maybe it's just a low battery thing, but I just noticed this about ten minutes ago.

EDIT: NVM, I forgot I edited the window scaling animation

The steps below I found over on the regular RAZR/RAZR MAXX forum. I performed this process and it did not clear my problems so I have just begun to do a full factory wipe reset. I figure this will start fresh and any old apps that are JB incompatible will not reload. I'll be back in a couple hours and let you know how it goes!

Power the phone off
Press and hold the volume down, volume up and power button until the recovery screen appears.
Use the volume down button to select "Recovery" and then press the volume up to confirm the selection.
The phone will do a little reboot thing, display the dual core logo thing and then an Android next to a triangle with a yellow exclamation point will appear. At this point press the volume up and volume down buttons at the same time.
If you did everything correctly you are now at the Android System Recovery Screen. To clear the cache press the volume down button until you have selected "wipe cache partition". Press the power button to confirm the selection and it will wipe the cache partition.
Once the cache is cleared press the volume up button to select "Reboot System Now" and press the power button to confirm the selection. If the "Reboot System Now" is already selected then just press the power button to confirm the selection and the phone will reboot.

Okay, so three hours later and I'm pretty much back up to speed. The reset itself was quick and relatively painless. Then re-downloading 118 apps took a little bit. About 35 failed to load and needed to be loaded manually. Then of course there was the reinstallation of custom photos and ringtones, signing into programs and creating icon groups, setting up widgets, etc.

The good news is the volume problem is not cleared up. All of my ringtones and notifications seem to be working well. It's going to take a few days to really get it back to where it was and test everything out but it looks like I'm good to go. I did not notice any improvements or worsening of speeds or lag - seems pretty much like it was before the reset which was pretty much the same as before the uprev from ICS to JB.

Now I must go in and recreate my Smart Actions...

I had a power off problem and also had a lot of high frequency crackling with the PowerAmp music app when playing high resolution files (24/96). A factory reset may have (too soon to say) fixed the power off problem and the crackling has diminished to simply annoying on only some High rez files.

So far the 'upgrade' reminds me a lot of the 'improvement' I suffered through when Microsoft inflicted Vista on us.
