Default Would like to add additional Notification Sounds

I'd like to add some Notification sounds. It's rather easy to add ringtones, but not notification ringtones/sounds. Does anyone know how to do this, i.e., where the ringtones should be placed.

Barry

On the internal SD card in the Bionic I have ...

/media/ringtones
/media/notifications

... if you have one there for ringtones ... try another for notifications.

(Sorry I don;t have a Razr to try it on.)

I have mine on my external SD card and it works too.

Remember if you store your ringtones and other notification sounds on the sd card that if for some reason you remove and reinsert the sd card you will probably have to reassign your ringtones. Happens to me every time.

Yes ... by that you mean the external SD-ext card and not the internal SD card.

Of course. I did not mention the naming convention of cards as that was quite obvious to me.

If you connect the phone to your computer they do not show this anyway.

On the Bionic ...

\media\notifications
\media\ringtones
\media\audio\notifications
\media\audio\ringtones

... all work. (I don't know what takes precedence.)

I like yours (with the \audio folder) better.

It makes most sense to me to have them on the SD card and not the SD-Ext card.
