Default Razr Lock Up

I just experienced my first Droid Razr lockup.

If this helps, I have posted a link to the site that recommended to hold down the POWER + VOLUME buttons together for 10 seconds. It did work and my phone is now responsive. Battery life is abysmal, but that's for another posting area.

"One lingering question is what you’re supposed to do if the RAZR hard locks - obviously since the battery is sealed inside, a battery pull is out of the question. Thankfully holding volume down and power/lock for 10 seconds reboots the device even when the device is totally unresponsive"

Hope this helps someone else who may run into this issue. Cheers, Adam.

Yep, we have known about the Power+Vol Down for some time now.

Thanks for reminding us anyway.

It probably locks up for various reason on different devices and it will be very hard to find the reason. You would have to use somehting like logcat to do it.
