Default Green line on screen

Last night while my phone was plugged in to the charger I pulled it a little too far and knocked the charger out of the wall causing me to drop the phone about two feet. When I picked it up there is a vertical pixel line about 1/2" from the right side of the screen. The line appears green at most times but on different colored background either blends in or shows up black. I don't think it's dead or stuck pixels because it's a whole straight line. Any solutions? I don't really want to take it in because I hate having to deal with the hassel of trying to get a new phone. Thanks in advance!

Have you tried turning the phone off completely and leaving it off for a while? Try that. If you power it up and the pixels are still stuck, get it replaced, no way of fixing it yourself.

and since you dropped it, you'll have to go thru insurance. calling verizon and saying "nothing happened to it; I just took it off the charger" in order to get a free replacement is fraud.

Not exactly, A verizon store once replaced my friends og droid when he dropped and shattered it in the parking lot of the store minutes after he bought it. He said he was gona call it a factory defect and ship it back to moto. Become friends with your verizon store guys it will pay off.

Bring in a coffee to one of your favorite guys, get him a big mac. Got me a $10 a month discount because I brought subway.

Still fraud. Just because you didn't do it is beside the point.
