Anyone found anything good? I had an otter box on my X, but they don't make that version for the maxx yet. I don't want to add too much thickness to it. But I don't like how I feel like I'm going to drop it every time the bus turns.
Otterbox Defender for Maxx now available at Amazon at a discount.
My otterbox commuter came this morning. I really like it. Looks great. Feels great, the fit is outstanding and it makes it so much easier to hold. I thought the naked Maxx was a bit slippery for me. Very glad I got it.
Defender makes the Maxx too thick for me. I stuck with the Commuter for two reasons; less bulk and because the hard plastic is on the outside, so it slides into pockets easier (the Defender has a plastic inner shell with rubber exterior, which isn't as pocket friendly IMO)
The TPU case should be out by the 21st. This is the one I want...

I'm also interested in the Barely There case by Case-Mate. I inquired about when Maxx one would be available and this is there response:

I got a Defender series in the mail today from Amazon and I love it. I probably wont use the belt clip but I love the way it has a built in screen protector. This is my 5th otterbox case perfect size for me.
I'm interested in whether any of the cases tried also allow the phone to be used in a windshield mount (from Verizon store) without taking the case off. I'm going to purchase a leather case for carrying on my belt, already have the car mount, but a wondering if I can have a case in addition.
That is a canned reply, I've received it several times asking for similar requests.
This should be an easy revision to the RAZR mold, they should already have this out like otterbox.
I got a black silicone case from Verizon, is that bad?
I ordered the phone since there wasn't any in store at the time, and the csae is going to be shipped with it, can i get my money back if I don't like it ?
I got this case and like it becuase it will work with my HD dock and also fits in my pouch I clip on to my belt.
I've been waiting for the Case Mate Barely There or Incipio Feather case, i check every day and they are still not available. Nothing from Seidio and Rearth too.
I prefer those over the TPU and Silicone cases out there.

The luxmo case fits perfectly though the overlap design makes the volume rocker buttons very stiff. There is a cut out for the power button so it is fine.
Front lip allows face-down on a table with no worries, material is stiffer than silicon so it won't get snagged up or loose like silicon covers.
If you want a glossy type snug case it is excellent.

I just picked up the VZW high gloss silicone case. Love it. Easy to put in and take out of pockets. Probably won't protect from a high drop but it'll do. :-)
Ordered a generic black tpu case from an Amazon seller. It was like $8.99 for the case, a screen protector, and home and car chargers. Surprisingly, all of it worked!
The tpu case is a perfect fit and works great. I guess my only complaint is that its solid black, not n slightly translucent like the one from my Eris.
I have been asking Siedio on Facebook but they don't know if they are going to make one or not. #shame

Went into Verizon to get a Outterbox Defender case...but they told me I had to order it. I thought they carried thoses? Oh well!
They do, but when a person phone is as popular as the MAXX the accessories are in high demand. They probably didn't expect to sell as many as they did.
There's a couple Verizon cases, the standard cheap silicon ones I've never liked, and the one I posted pics on which you saw (but in the interest of others): Just picked up my MAXX
From the research I've done to date, this is still my preferred case. Most of the others are too bulky from the pics I've seen (seidio and otterbox specifically). I'd be interested as well what slimline cases others have seen.
This is the one I have. Barely adds any weight or bulk to the handset, looks good, nice feel in hand.
