Default Device low on memory

Two weeks ago I got my maxx. I added like 60 or so apps n I have a ton of songs. All songs and all the apps I could move are on my 32GB card. All messages get deleted at the end if the week. Browser history, cookies and cache automatically get cleared.

Available space for apps is 2.38gb
Internal space is 7.20GB
25.09GB left on my sd card

Why am I getting a device low on memory message?

Thx in advance

Not sure why that would show up for you. Search in the 'Android Media' section under 'Android Discussion' and, hopefully, you can find some help there.

After the hell I lived with on the Incredible, this is the LAST thing I want to hear about my new DRM that I just got yesterday. :-(

The Inc was pretty poor at this, but had less memory. I haven'r had this issue once yet.

IX7III - you didn't give us HOW much of the 2.38gb is available with your 60 plus apps, which, is a LOT!

You may need to go to each program under settings, app management, clear caches, and move them to memory card.

As I remember on the Inc I would get this message when available program memory would drop to around 175.

This has been the best phone to date I have ever used.

2.38 is what I have left.

My point was, I don't understand how my device is low on memory when it appears to have plenty of room for more apps and games. Then again, you guys know more than me and those numbers above might mean i'm running low.

Should I go to each of my apps and clear cache?
what exactly do I gain by clearing the cache?

I have similar storage left. I have never had an issue with mine. I would try clearing caches, then maybe a reboot if you haven't already.
