It works fine now right ? Is there any chance you could have overloaded the processor ?

It's a computer. Sometimes they lock up and need rebooted.

Glad it's working again. +1 for the non battery pull reset function. It's vol down, then power button and I've heard it needs to be held for several seconds at times.

Mine does this quite often. Press function key to wake and it doesn't. Have to press it a few times and then give it a few seconds to play catch up.bit I have had to rest a few times.

Probably a specific application you are using that is causing issues. On avg (so far) I reboot my phone once every 6 weeks (and two of those reboots were due to updates).

I have a fair amount of 'junk' installed but nothing that is of a 'system' nature or needs to run 24/7.

Your phone was probably just hung over and needed a few extra hours sleep followed by a splash of cold water I'm glad it finally woke from it's stupor

I have had my Razr phone for 5 months now and today I was looking at a weatherbug alert and after it opened, I could not drag it to read the whole alert. I tried using the keys to get out of it. Nothing. Locked up tighter than, well we won't go there. LOL I press the +volume key and power key together. Nothing. In full panic mode with thoughts of having to try to get a replacement phone. I finally head on down to the local Verizon store and an associate takes the phone and does the same +Vol key and power key together. Nothing. Then he does the -Vol key and power key together and it turns off and then he turns it back on. It has returned from the dead. LOL

This happened to me and no amount of button pushing was a solution. This was: Remove the SIM card and re-install it, problem solved.
Hopes this helps everyone who might have this problem in the future.

Did you try power + volume down together? That's how you do forced reboots.
