You would see more good than bad IMO. I also agree if you dont have a RAZR now....check out the Maxx.
Blur is better, just the overall feel of using the software is better. At this point I think the only thing one might like better on the Droid X is the removable battery. Maybe the screen.
The screens are a wash IMO. LCD vs. Amoled...wont go into too much detail but they both have pros n cons on these 2 specific phones. I like the screen on my RAZR more. I still have my Droid X also.
Know this tho....4G phones do have connection issues vs. 3G only phones. That said...my RAZR was the least annoying between the G Nex and Rezound. Putting a 4G phone in 3G only should help until whatever issues you have can be pinpointed. I used to use 4G like I use wifi...whenever I needed it. After RAZR updates...I just leave it on 4G all the time now. Mainly because updates made the battery life a lil better. Reception got better for me too....which was already nice out the box. And my connection got more stable.
I dont use Smart Actions for turning off data when the screen's off anymore. Dont really know...but that coulda been part of the reason for connection issues. I dont really use Smart Actions anymore at all. But it does, could and should help with battery life.

The only thing I think you might miss going from the X to the Razr, and it's not that big of a deal at all to me, is the X had an FM tuner. The Razr does not. But hey, most people doesn't use FM on a phone when you have Pandora, Slacker, etc anyways.

FORGOT about the FM Radio!!!! Lol. That was actually on my pro list for getting the bionic....instead of the RAZR. I learned to live with out it, like I learned to live with a non removable battery. I miss the fm radio more than the removable battery..

The only issue I have had is the lack of ROMs available, this will hopefully change with time.
Besides that, and the fact I had to learn a whole new method of rooting and navigating the internals, the RAZR is a far superior device in more ways than I can list here.
Also, go for the MAXX, it does have much better battery life, due to the increased size of the battery, I went for the standard model and am looking into getting the MAXX battery for it.
