I don't think they are ever going to do the update, I think it was a plot to get people to buy the phones. I mean, I would have anyone, I love the phone, but damn...really?

The funny thing about that.. my first Android phone was a Droid 1 in 2010. I had a Droid X1, G Nex, Rezound and RAZR since. Only one I dont have anymore is the G Nex.
I had no idea what the timeframe was supposed to be for ICS on the RAZR until I looked in forums. I really saw no ads for it. Even then I didnt see any definite dates. Just quarter this or that.

The only ones who know about updates are the ones who visit sites like these. Most normal consumers are happy with their phones and don't even know what ICS is if you asked them. Just keeping their phones updated with bug fixes is fine for them as long as their phones work. I think sites like these made things worse than it needs to be. Everyone feels they are entitled to have the latest update right away when that isn't the case even with the nexus line. You want updates right away you have to either get an unlocked version( which sucks for us on cdma carriers) or go the iphone route.
