Maybe I'm just don't know much about ICS.

But what is it really going to give us?

I run Eclipse on my Bionic, and looking at getting the maxx and giving my wife my bionic.

So what does ICS give us?

First thing I saw is that you can get to it with just a hdmi plug. Some of the other things are that it doesnt look any thing like 2.3.6 webtop and that it looks like a larger Ics for your TV. This a video Motorola Webtop 3.0 beta captured on video, running off Droid RAZR with ICS -- Engadget

Hey, what is that clock/weather widget called? Is it available for Gingerbread or is that an ICS exclusive?

I don't think they are ever going to do the update, I think it was a plot to get people to buy the phones. I mean, I would have anyone, I love the phone, but damn...really?

Screen lock looks nice. Other then that I'd probably still use Go Launcher.

The funny thing about that.. my first Android phone was a Droid 1 in 2010. I had a Droid X1, G Nex, Rezound and RAZR since. Only one I dont have anymore is the G Nex.

I had no idea what the timeframe was supposed to be for ICS on the RAZR until I looked in forums. I really saw no ads for it. Even then I didnt see any definite dates. Just quarter this or that.

The only ones who know about updates are the ones who visit sites like these. Most normal consumers are happy with their phones and don't even know what ICS is if you asked them. Just keeping their phones updated with bug fixes is fine for them as long as their phones work. I think sites like these made things worse than it needs to be. Everyone feels they are entitled to have the latest update right away when that isn't the case even with the nexus line. You want updates right away you have to either get an unlocked version( which sucks for us on cdma carriers) or go the iphone route.
