Default Need a call blocker app that blocks ALL calls/txts

I'm looking for a way to block all incoming calls and texts on my phone. I'm using it as a lap timer for my track car, and it's annoying as hell when an incoming call disrupts it while I'm on track. Ideally I'd like to shut down the phone service altogether, while leaving the Bluetooth and GPS on. I don't want any notifications, I don't care if it goes to VM or hangs up, as long as I have no indication that a call came in, and I can easily block ALL incoming calls and texts. This phone is not rooted but all my others were, and I'm not opposed to rooting it to get the features I need. Any advice on an app? I tried a few I searched on here, but they were all older apps and none worked properly, maybe because of ICS, I don't know.

All you have to do is turn blue tooth on after you put it in airplane mode

By default BT is disabled when you enter airplane mode. You can go back and enable BT once in airplance mode, but then that's another thing I have to remember when I get in the car and setup the phone, and my GPS antenna needs to be unpaired and paired all over again every time it loses the connection. I'm looking for a one touch app that blocks the calls, so I can still use the phone between sessions, but easily disable it when I get in the car.

There isn't an app that does that.

You should be able to set up a one-touch (or location based) profile using Phone Weaver. It gives great control over radios, notifications, etc.

This app concerns me. Cell numbers are not published publically anywhere but this app seems to be building a directory based upon the guise of a free service.

Sounds a bit like file-sharing of old - you share your music and in return other people share theirs to you.

Crowd sourcing apps can have good intents, but the path to hell is paved with them...

Good thoughts albeit pure speculation at this time. I've been using it about a year and have had no negative side effects but that's not to say I won't someday. Who knows. Works well.

Not saying they are practicing evil right now, but what if someone decides to purchase the developers assets primarily for the directory - or even worse a hacker grabbing the directory and having a lot of potentially useful information at hand.

Trouble is, for me, that this is other folks info we're talking about here, not your own.

Probably well off topic though

I use Mr Number as well. If you want the caller id feature to work for free, you must share your phone book to help ID calls for others. If you don't want that for free, you can pay, or you can just choose not to have it. Now, does it still look at your contacts? No idea, but I have to say, this app works pretty darn well.

But for the purpose the OP is looking for, I would say this isn't the right app. When a spam call comes in, my phone will briefly ring before the phone/app hangs up on the caller. This would probably still interrupt the lap timer. Not sure about how it handles texts, though.

Profile Scheduler - then set up a profile that turns on Airplane mode, turn on BT, turns on GPS, and Bob's your uncle!

No, I am not his uncle. We're not related at all.

Oh yeah, 130 down the straight and as i pass the start finish line lemme play with my stop watch... Actually it goes far beyond just taking time there are many other things that are logged for analysis later.

Actually the app that did work is called "blocker" by embware. Works perfectly, no ring or other interruption, and has one touch profiles. Thanks for all the help guys.
