Default Question about shared plan (data)
I have always used prepaid phones but I want the droid razr maxx so bad so I'm willing to buy it but I am hesitant on the plan, it says unlimited talk and text and 1gb of data , what does 1gb of data mean? I don't want to over and pay more but in used too unlimited everything , i am not sharing anything I'm the only phone that's going to be on the plan.. Thanks for helping.

1GB of data means that's how much data is allowed to be used by your phone. Going over will result in overages.

Since you're getting the MAXX, you can upgrade to ICS (4.0) and set a data limit so once 1GB of data goes through your phone, it'll disable it.

You can also turn off mobile data when you don't want to use it.

Do you stream any videos over data, for example? If so, you will go through that 1GB of data very quickly.
