Default Voice recognition is not working

Suddenly my voice recognition will not work. I have an app called voice recorder it works.

But when I try to talk into my phone for google searches or to talk for text it does not work.

I went into settings but everything looks okay.

Can anyone help?

Thank you

I figured it out.

Someone recently put a screen protector on my phone for me. It was a screen protector for a razr max hd.

Anyway it covered the mic. Dah. Problem solved
