I would like to move some pictures from "My Gallery", onto the external SD card I just put into my Droid Razr phone. What is mounting the card and how can I move the pics from "My Gallery" to the card? This is all new to me so be slow with your answer.

And how can I make sure with every pic taken with the camera they will file themselves on the external card?

please go to the settings and go to storage, it will automatically ask you if you wanna move the pics and songs to the card.
and in each camera app there is a setting which will give u the option to change the memory location.
go to the settings of the individual app that you use for clicking pictures and check out. it should be real easy.

It tells me to go to file manager to physically move the files. That's after I select manage storage, under storage. I just downloaded Astro. Should I use that to move the files?

you can use either astro or the stock file manager...all the same
