Based on this review, it seems as though it's the UI that is causing the occasional stutter when moving across the home screen.

Is there any chance that 2.2 would fix that kind of stutter?

Android doesn't GPU accelerate its UI like the iPhone. It's a difficult task because there are so many different hardware and software setups.

The stuttering is attributed to the Ninjablur skin on the phone.

yeah, i figured it was the blur.

i also thought it was a power management profile setback. meaning if you place the phone on powersaver, it wont perform at 100%.

either way, it is just a software issue. a minor wrinkle that should be ironed out
