I can't keep the darn Moto contact widgets from resizing after resets, regardless what size I make them. Anyone else having this issue or know of a fix? I even tried to keep the original 4 row widget setting, but it didn't work. This is annoying
Same here, pretty annoying. It also resizes randomly, not always just after a reboot.

Sorry fellas, I need to check this thread more often I guess. The top calendar part was answered correctly (LauncherPro+'s Calendar widget), the bottom is Android Agenda Widget using one of the included themes (I'd get the name but I stopped using this widget in favor of Jorte until LP+'s gets more functionality).

I got a few from here, but this link is a good start.
Thanks, chrlswltrs! See, I was thinking that I was going to have to create the dock some kind of way from scratch, but this provides a really good template for some of the ideas I had...now if I could only use Paint.Net...
I had to change my lock screen since I was having issues with the Audio Manager widget on the lock screen and home screen. When I changed the levels on one it would not reflect the changes in the other even after opening the widget.
I'm curious about the battery gauge on the lock screen, but I bet I know the answer. I have to root to be able to place it there, don't I?
Widget Locker is so buggy! The stock slider lock was on my phone.. I'm assuming because I didn't use my phone for a few hours. The Widget Locker icon was still in the notification bar too. I had to reopen the app for Widget Locker to work correctly again.
I'm debating whether to keep Widget Locker which is lag free or go back to the stock lag version.

Widget Locker, and it does not require root. You can customize the sliders, place widgets/shortcuts along with a lot of other things. The battery widget is Gauge Battery Widget.

Yep. Once you get the froyo update, you loose root. Thats why I haven't bothered. We could get froyo any day now, and I dont want to spend a few hours setting something up that could be gone tomorrow.

I'm hoping that by removing some of the preinstall apps (Blockbuster, CityID, NeedForSpeed, etc) that they will still be gone even when 2.2 rolls around. Besides, no harm in having fun with some of the things Root offers. Taking screenshots with via Root is much easier though I haven't posted yet in this thread with a proper screen shot.
I am frustrated that I cannot find a quick contact widget that pulls profile pics from Facebook. The stock Contact quick tasks doesnt function with ADW Launcher...
What is that with the white heart? Is that a large sized contact or something? I'm wanting to do something similar to that, one screen with maybe 4 large contacts on it and picture only, no names/texts to it.
Nah, I wish it functioned like a contact. It's just a picture frame widget of my gf. I don't think she'd appreciate me posting her picture around the forums haha...especially since she's a blackberry user.
Those are fantastic! I can't wait to get my X and get started. Coming from a Storm 2 this looks a little overwhelming but I've read some informative posts and learn a little something every time I log in!

Yeah I figured the heart was to just cover up the person but drats, was really hoping it was some sort of contact widget. Coming from a WinMo phone previously I used SPB Mobile Shell 3 and I sure miss being able to customize my Contacts screen the way I wanted, choosing from small/medium/large size pictures Oh well, that's certainly one thing Android is sorely lacking.....hi-res larger sized contact pics! Ok I'm done ranting hahah thx.
here is mine currently with the Droid 2 live wallpaper.. well, the live doesn't really translate well in a screenshot.
I'm trying to get my dock to look like this, except I'm having issues with the eye icon. I choose it as a custom icon on the dock, but after applying the icon it displays with a dark square background instead of the round icon. Is there a trick to getting the icon to display properly?
For reference, here's a screen of what it looks like on my phone.

I always wanted a black and white theme, now that I figured out how to change the framework apk and modify other icons in some apps i finally got it. Also, big thanks to Fab, I'm using the revolution theme that he posted.
