Here's mine. I'm using Launcher Pro Plus, with 7 screens. Screen #4 is my main one. I have each screen categorized (somewhat)

I'm curious, how are you running both LauncherPro Plus and using the stock Moto widgets!? O_o

You can use the Moto Widgets with Launcher Pro Plus, you just can't resize them like you can with the stock Moto launcher. At least you should be able to use them, ymmv lol.

They're mixed in with the Android widgets under the title "Widgets" when you long press the home screen.

Gamble can you tell me how you and everyone else is getting their screen shots? Someone said to download the Android SDK app - do I need to know how to use the developer tool to take a snapshot of my pages?

I followed the link that Vihzel posted as well. Took a little while, but got it done.

After I had all of the pics saved, I uploaded them on tinypic.com and used the "webpage" or something like that size setting.

Gamble,

Looking at your screen made me curious how you got that picture widget on there. Lo and behold, I found it (first android phone...duh!). Thanks! I do have a question though. How do you get that larger Sportsap widget on there? I can't find an option to expand it with the scores right there on the screen.

I JUST realized there are themes AND skins for beautiful widgets. I also just discovered you can edit BW without dragging it to the trash and starting over.

Just click the weather and when you're on the weather screen, click the settings button.. There you will find the skins setting and the settings option for Beautiful Widgets.

Any performance problems? The comments on appbrain made it sound like it was a memory hog. Isn't it just a wallpaper app?

For the SportsTap widget, just long press the home screens, go to widgets, and then select SportsTap. Maybe you were adding it as a shortcut?..

It's the stock "Photo Slideshow" widget. You can set the picture at the by pressing the right button at the bottom. The middle button initiates the slideshow, and the left button opens up the camera app. I have it on my main screen primarily for the instant camera opening app built in to it

Hmmm, I just scanned through the comments for it on appbrain and I don't see any mention of it hogging people's memory. It does say that it might decrease performance in the description, but I don't see any changes while using it whatsoever.

BTW, I posted a 1289 quadrant benchmark score earlier while using a Flikie wallpaper.

Thanks! I had tried to install that the other night and it wouldn't let me. I just tried again and it worked. Not sure if I need it or not, but I sure am glad to know where it was hiding!

That, my friend, is a MUST HAVE app imo. It's an anti-virus/backup/phone finder app. It scans every app that you download or install for spyware, etc, and runs in the background like an anti-virus app on your computer would. Highly rated.

I manually changed each one. I used pictures that were on my computer, moved them via usb to my phone, and added/cropped them through the contacts app.

Well that would work but my contacts already have linked pics from their accounts like FB, etc...and they still don't show up in the LPP People widget...hmmm...

Pretty sure the widget only displays pictures if it's linked to your Gmail account.

You can still change overwrite the linked pic. Go to contacts > pick someone > click menu button > edit > click their picture. It will give you the option to Take photo or Use existing photo. Once you change it, hit the little refresh button at the bottom of the LPP widget and it will update it.

Fab, not true. I only set up a Gmail account when I knew I was getting the X. Don't use it for anything.

just4747, at the very bottom of the strip, there is a refresh button. Try that. Also, go to the settings for it and it asks who you want to display. Mine is my favorites. Good luck.

So you set the pictures to your contacts from your phone, right?

What if you go to Gmail.com and view your contacts? Do they all have the picture now?

I was under the impression that it would sync that way, which is what I meant when I said the widget would only show pictures of contacts that are linked to your Google account.

Yes, they were set from my phone. My gmail account has no contacts set up yet.

Oh, wow. If that's the case, I would go into Settings->Accounts->your Gmail account and check sync contacts.

It's really nice to have a copy in the cloud, in case anything goes wrong, or you have to reset your phone, as soon as you sign in, all you contacts are back.

Quick question with Froyo Wide dock background with LP+...

How do you get it to look translucent? Mine isn't and I'd prefer it to be translucent.

Thanks!

Probably not the right forum to ask, but I have ever two questions. One, how do I adjust or calibrate the touch response? Two, what's the best Way to get out of a text box like on here? there is no done button or easy way that I can see.
Thanks

I think you're talking about, Menu Button > Preferences > Appearance Settings > Dock background > Glass.

I press the "Back" physical button on my Droid X, next to the Home button. That backs me out of text boxes when I'm using Swype at least.

Don't know the answer to your first question.

That's the new Launcher Pro Plus contacts widget. It comes with Launcher Pro Plus, which takes a $2.99 donation to download.

Here's the link:

You mean where it says "People"?

That's a built-in widget for LauncherPro Plus.
