Phones I've owned in order as far back as I can remember
Treo 700P, iPhone, iPhone 3G, LG Dare, iPhone 3GS, Droid, Droid X, iPhone 4...next is the Verizon Nexus
Thanks NKT! Good to know...hope the "better battery indicator" causes one of the LEDs to light-up whilst charging--that's pretty much my only complaint so far.
Are you an "X"-er now with a (newly-rooted) Eris in your back pocket too?
What's the 'text in the browser' issue? Haven't heard or experienced this...
When entering text into a forum entry box - like this one for instance - if you screw up it's damn near impossible to put the cursor where you want it to edit the text.
NKT is correct, the update should be over the air. I would expect most to get the update the first day or so since there are not as many Droid X's out in circulation as there are Droids. But it is also possible that they may push it out to a few users, make sure there are no negative side effects and then push it out to the others a couple days later. Time will tell.

Complete pain in the @ss.
At least, I think that's what it might be.
No it was for some people complaining about the text appearing jagged
Ever think they may be waiting to put it on there? It's not going to be there the minute it was leaked or found on the web
I'm trying to make sure that I'm not going blind or something because I can't find any mentions of 7/19. Besides, this isn't exactly leaked info when it's posted on the official X support website on VZW. *shrug*

Then dont worry about it. You can just go on how you are and then if you do receive the OTA you will get it. Its not that major of an ota like froyo will be so no need sitting waiting for it

If NTK says it starts the 19th than I feel inclined to believe it. He has leaked info to us before and I don't ever remember seeing him be wrong.

I hated that with the dinc. It sounds like it may be worse right now with the X? I hope there really improve that.
I think a lot of people will be pleased with the updates, especially the faster syncing with Exchange as I've seen that as a real annoyance with some people.

The evo was horrible at it, but the x is great at it, to me at least. There is a red little eye that appears when you move the cursor to where you want it.
Every thing should stay the same as far as your preferences and setup. You shouldn't lose any data or have to re-setup your phone. Now when we go to Froyo that might be a different story...

And if you press and hold that red dot it will open a little magnifying window to help you place your cursor.
