Default Amazon App Purchases
If you make purchases or get the PAID app for free through the Amazon App Store and you wipe your phone (i.e. flashing a rom), will it automatically redownload to your phone like apps purchased through the Market? Or do I need to save it to my SD via Titanium BackUp or Apps2SD?

They are saved as purchased, meaning you can reinstall them anytime you sign in.

They don't automatically restore, but you can select which ones to reinstall. I have a list of like 60 apps so far.

Or use Titanium backup, and it will back up the file and you will still get updates. I buy virtually every paid app that comes through because you never know...and it stays in your app ability forever...as long as Amazon app stays around!
