Question Question about selling my used DX...

Is a factory reset and removal of root all that is required when selling a used phone?

You'd probably want to format your SD card too.

Or offer the option to root for the seller or give factory set options.

Or put another one in there, or just keep it and sell it without one. Being up front about it (should you do anything other than leave it in there) is the important thing.

I'd keep the phone as a spare.

i would perform an SBF. The memory card is up to you. If you leave it in format it.

Thumbs up

I was going to just leave the memory card in there since i don't have much use for it. I've got jump drives and memory cards all over the house I forgot about formatting it though thanks for reminding me fellas. So far I've done a backup restore but it's still rooted.

I was mainly wondering if the phone was somehow still tied to my acct and required some special action on my part before attempting to sell it.

Thanks again for all the replies
