Default Droid X to my son???

I gave my Droid X to my 7 year old son. Can I remove all my information on it to make it all his own? It will not be active with Verizon. It will be used at home used as a ipod touch kind of thing.

You'll also need to bypass the activation screen. Otherwise it'll sync all of your contacts back up the first time he connects to your wifi. There's videos of how to do it on YouTube.

Yeah, my kids use mine for Angry Birds and Tune In. for this reason, I'd make a separate account, so you can download apps for them. There's no bank account tied to the kids email, but they can browse the market for free games, etc.

I was wondering about this. I plan to do the same thing with my Droid X as ricksievers. I planned on doing the factory reset, but is a gmail account required in order to download apps?

Also, I'm assuming that a factory reset removes all apps that I've installed.
