Should be /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db

Not sure if there is a redundant location elsewhere. What are you trying to do? Permanent delete, etc?

Gee, getting my old DX out of the closet makes me appreciate my SG3 MUCH more!

Exactly what I was looking for!! Used PC usb to pull 785MB clockwork backup file (data.ext4.tar) from Galaxy Nexus to PC, extracted just the four files in the latest Clockwork backup files I made before flashing a new rom, and found that folder exactly where you said it was. Copied the four files back to the phone and used Root Explorer to overwrite the existing four empty files. Voila!! All my texts and MMS messages are back! Thanks!!
