Default Please help w/droid x2 snowy screen

I have a droid x2 and after my dog knocked some water on the phone the screen is now all snowy. The phone works, but I cannot view the screen. The problem is that I have text messages from my dad who recently passed away and I really want to get them from the phone onto either my pc, email or another cell. Please help me. I don't want to lose these text messages...they are very important to me!!
