If it does what you want & you feel that you're getting a good bargain, go for it, it's a nice tablet.

Just a few you may want to consider before plunking down $300 for this tablet:

1) This tablet is locked down & development outside of root access is non-existent. Don't expect any future development, as MOTOROLA probably will not offer up the tools to unlock.

2) Non-expandable on-board memory/storage. Only you can determine if this is an issue.

3) ICS 4.0.4 : This O/S is nice, but, MOTOROLA has not offered any word one way or the other if they will issue the most current up-to-date O/S:ANDROID 4.2 (JELLY BEAN).

I wouldn't get this tablet if this is important to you, as I'd be willing to bet the current O/S (ICS 4.0.4) is the end of the road for upgrades, as this tablet has been upgraded once, from ANDROID 3.2.

The abovementioned points weren't meant to dissuade you from getting the XYBOARD, as I am quite pleased with mine, but, just some things to consider if you're expecting more out of your tablet.

Have to agree with Kolio on this one. Love my XYBoard. Matter of fact, just converted an iPad lover last night to the XYBoard. Been using mine for business lately, doing lots of web broadcasts. Even bought a nice tripod mount for it. :-)

I am also looking at getting one.
I have seen them for 300 brand new and less mint used.
Looks attractive to me b/c & because of the price and ips hd screen.
It being stuck on ICS is okay with me I guess. I just want it for basic stuff like apps, movies, playing games.

Perhaps a nexus 7 or 10 would be better as they are as cheap and the nexus 10 has the best resolution on a tab that money can buy.

Yeah, you right. The nexus 10 does have the best display and timely updates from Google and comes with 4.2 already on board.
For only 100$ more than the outdated Motorola xyboard.

The nexus 10 only comes in a wifi only version right, no 3g/4g connectivity.

...Maybe we should move this discussion somewhere else, of getting OT here...

I'm on att with an hTC one x, I'd like to get a high end 10 tablet that I could use with att mobile network, if I want and not an iProduct. I know the nexus 7 has that type of connectivity, but I want a 10" inch hd display tab.

I should just buy the nexus 10 with my uncle Sam money and case closed...
