Default Is there any good golf games for the Droid?

Hi, I am new here and just started to add apps to my new Droid. I have a few, but I am looking for advice on which apps are the best. Examples: What is the best golf, race, and other fun games? Also, what is the best video player to watch videos from my SD card. How do I get to my SD card to add and delete files?

Welcome to the Android forums! My first suggestion for you is to download AppBrain from the market. You can find it easily by scanning the following QR code with your favorite bar code scanner app, or by simply searching for AppBrain in the market.

Next go to AppBrain - the best Android apps and games on the Android market and create an account. You will need to use your google credentials that you used to activate your phone. Trust me this site is legit and safe. Your not actually giving you google credentials to AppBrain. It is simply an interface that you sing into google servers to use.

After all of that, here is a search from AppBrain for "golf": AppBrain Search For "Golf" and it has a lot of different golf apps. I have not actually tried any of them, but some look promising.

When you find an app you want to install on your phone, simply click the install button for that app on AppBrain. Then open the AppBrain app on your phone and touch manage my apps, sync with AppBrain, and finally, Perform Installs. It will take you to the app page on the market and you can install and/or buy the app from there. When you are done, it AppBrain should automatically take you to the next app, if it doesn't just hit the back button once and AppBrain will take you to the market page for the next app (assuming you are trying to install more than one app).

Hope this helps. I use this app a lot and really like it. The search feature on the AppBrain website is 10,000 times better than the search on the market it's self.

The best Golf Game is Let's Golf from Gameloft, but you can only download from their website directly onto your Droid (so use wifi) and you can't redownload it if you switch phones or flash a new rom (they said you will in the future). They also have a diablo clone a God of War clone and some shooters.

Racing game is Asphault 5 or Raging Thunder 2. A good action rpg is Zenonia.

A good file browser is called Astro. All files downloaded will go to your sdcard/download folder. You can sync music by downloading Doubletwist from the market and the Desktop version or sync itunes directly with Easy Phone Tunes.

Let's Golf looks good but I can't find out how much it costs without filling out their form. I guess I'll look elsewhere.

Lets Golf was $4.99
Lets Golf II was $4.99
Lets Golf III was FREE but beware it cost $$$ to play as you run out of credits they actually make you by credit $$$'s to play.

I found that Lets Golf very fun until I bought Lets Golf II and found the best game. It has multiple levels and was more accurate and easier to play. I still play the original but it requires better skill. I would buy #2 get good and then go to #1 if you want something more challenging. Great luck to you and enjoy the best Droid Golf Game on the android market to date.

Pardon my necro, but are there any decent free golf games someone could recommend?
