I noticed for the first time that as the page loads it sends information to Google Analytics | Official Website. I also know that I'm disappointed, and to trust in my own HTML skill and not listen to people who say the page "is coded' to do something. Also I disbelieve all those who believe in the supremacy of EST.

Well, VZW HQ is in Manhattan. Google, however, is on West Coast.

They just might play it safe and post an update when the timer runs out in ALL timezones.

Anyone notice that the timer was using your comp's clock for the countdown?? i.e. if you changed the time in windows you could get it to "timeout"...

Likewise, you can change the time to a past date...refresh the page and it counts down again. This makes me think scorpio is right and maybe the announcement will come at midnight pacific..... all I know is I am going to be REALLY disappointed if I have to wait until 11:30a today (or later ?!?!?) for the "official announcement".....LAME!

Ha ha, even when Verizon has a countdown clock, they still make people wait an indefinite amount of time! Anyone seen the 6000-post thread for the Omnia II? In June, that phone was coming out SOON.

10a-4:30p EST press event today... *tick* *tick* ... my VW store doesn't open 'till 9am EST (15 more min!)

*sigh* an-tiss-i-pation... an-tis-i-pay-yay-tion... it's making me wait... it's sloooow good.

I hope I can score one before next Wednesday when I have to fly to Vegas!

I new it used your computer time but had hopes anwyay, stayed up till midnight Central time then crashed.

Was bummed but, we'll find out soon enough! I just hope we get a price.
