Default how do i wipe out the phone

im giving the phone to my wife when i get my x. so i wanted to know if there is a way i can wipe teh phone back to stock so she can start on clean slate.

go to settings, privacy and click on reset to factory settings. i don't think this will clear your SD Card though. if for some reason that doesn't work you can reboot into your recovery mode.

If you're not rooted then a factory reset will wipe the phone's data. It will NOT affect your SD card, which can be formatted in Settings.
