Talking Flash and ads

is there a way to kill flash ads from the browser or the phone itself? i know i'm jumping the gun since flash isn't even out officially. i ran a search and came up with nothing but i'm hoping someone has heard of something for the droid

If you're rooted, you can download an app called AdFree, which blocks ads by modifying your hosts file.

Otherwise, you can at least block Flash ads by setting plugins to 'On Demand' in the browser.

In that case, if there's Flash content you want to see, there's a little green play button that you need to press first before the browser renders it.
