Default Battery for different phones

Does the Droid and the DroidX use the same battery. The reason I am asking is one of my co-workers is having his Droid replaced for the forth time, and VW is offering a DroidX. We have several batteries that we purchased for the Droid and want to make sure they can be used. If they are different then no deal.

Thanks
-Carl

I'm almost certain it's different. With a higher clock speed and larger screen it would need a bigger battery than the Droid.
