Updated successfully, no problems......until I received a call. Call screen does not come up and I cant answer my phone. I can go to teh call screen where I can dial out, but I cant actually answer an inbound call. HELP!!!
I just installed, and everything I had before seems to be working. I can receive and make calls. All of my apps seem to work. Flashplayer 10.1 is not available in the market.
i downloaded the file and i am waiting to pull the trigger until more people report back
I can tell you right now, i followed Trident's guide and everything went flawlessly. The phone is incredibly responsive and everything seems to be working fine.
did the update and everything is working great! Trying the flash download from post #508 now.
EDIT: Tried to download Flash from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HO8UZSDW and it said that it could not be downloaded and it was not a valid file for my phone.

Based on the Linpack scores I'm seeing, it looks like this build may be a bit more optimized. Running a previous build at 550mhz never yielded MFLOPS above 9.

Try rebooting again. I'm not having that problem. Maybe something random crashed -- I've had rare-but-intermittent problems like that with 2.0 and 2.1.

Is there any way to modify what applications are in the dock? I was using LauncherPro before this and assumed the FroYo dock was customizable at least somewhat.
How empty must one's life be to get so hung up over an OPERATING SYSTEM UPDATE. C'mon people, are you serious? We're talking about an operating system update. So sad

NEVERMIND!!! Problem resolved. Long story about 3rd party ringotne program that I dont use anymore and update, but basically I'm a moron. Everything is working AWESOME now.
Maybe try emptying your cache in the recovery console? It's the option *after* factory reset (shudder) on the list (reboot, update, reset, empty cache). I did that (twice), since it's been recommended in the past during updates, and doesn't hurt anything.
Worst comes to worst-worst-worst, a factory reset clears everything. But...a pain!
EDIT: I see your problem is resolved. Yay!

Hmmm, I see multiple people looking to go back to stock. I'd say your "hundreds" estimate is falling quite rapidly.
Those posts are referring to unrooting and going back to stock load. Obviously a large percentage of people, including me, have done the update with no issues. Stop scaring the noobs and upsetting people. Most of us have jobs and can't spend all day on this forum reading you trash talk. If you don't want to update, thats fine, but let the rest of us help each other out and get on with our day.

I'm getting a bit of lag especially going back to the mainscreen... can't find any options for market place either, maybe it's only if I have an update waiting to be installed dunno...

You are here too no? I think you posted something about OTA three times now no?
So far so good, no problems.. Still can't control music with the volume rockers.. booo! I had high hopes they would include that...
Edit: I love having ONE calendar for both Google and Corp
Linpack: varies from 6.6 to 9.25; most runs around 9. Yay.
No original comments -- I'll just echo that 5 screens are nice, and the browser, calendar, market and NewsRob apps are a bit smoother. I've even turned on my home screen animations again.
