I think you have to be rooted to do a screenshot. Unless something in 2.2 changes that.

Forgive me for asking an obviously noob question, but after installing this, will I be able to go to adobe's site and download flash 10.1 without issue, or do we have to wait for adobe to release something?
This site is the best!

It's because the link has https://
Don't worry, it's safe. If it makes you feel better, remove the "s" from the http:// then it won't give you the security warning.

Yeah we get a security warning as well due to the URL having HTTPS instead of HTTP

Yes it does. Happened to me on Google Chrome on my MacBook and Vista laptop.
I don't think its an issue though.

Installing here. I've been at the blinking red eye Droid boot animation for a good ~5 minutes now, guys. Starting to get a bit worried. You all might want to hold off for a bit until this thing is proven. I installed 2.0.1 and 2.1 manually, so I'm well aware of how to do it properly.

Hey - Just found the forum today and HOPE I figured it out. Looked at the pattern for the last OTA and assumed last 4 digits might be CRC or something. If this works, I got lucky since I'm sure others here were minutes (maybe seconds) behind me.

Trident: thanks for all this. But before I take the plunge I'd like for you, or another mod, to confirm that the install worked without issue and this is indeed the real deal. I'll look forward to hearing.

Not yet, if you're interested in rooting then hold off until someone has an answer. I believe OMJ is already looking into this.

Renamed to update.zip, copy to the root of your sdcard, rebooted into recovery, apply update: update.zip

Confirmed it's working here. Horribly slow first boot, I had to tap power button to turn screen off, then tapping it again brings up the unlock slider. All is as it appears to be but it's running really slow. Power cycling & rebooting again. All of my home screen icons & shortcuts are preserved. Just be patient!
