EDIT: Big thanks to Joe for forwarding this to me. Awesome app Chet! You should go to the market with this once you fix the bugs others reported and polish up the GUI, I'd pay for it!

One other request chet, can you make the on/off button a bit smaller? I find my fingers slipping sometimes and accidentally turning it on or off.
Just chugged a bunch of nyquil...g'nite.

Please forward it to me too michael{at}maunsen{dot}de

There is actually a brighter light than what you have it on. You seem to have it on 50% brightness. If you try and take a pic, the autofocus LED light that goes on is way brighter.
If you can have an option for low/high brightness, I think $1.99 at most. I think if you tried it at $.99 you'd sell more.. Quantity is the thing with a market this large and so many free apps available.

I would be interested in testing too:
mail
at
northstarce
dot
com
Do other camera apps turn the LED off?
Will the LED stay on if you start the camera app and record video?
Can you turn the LED while using shopsavvy?
Also, I would like to test the battery drain while using the LED.
I like the Morse code feature. My previous phone had an app (nueLight) that did that.
How about adding an option to periodically flash the LED like a beacon or warning light?

OK, It is on the market at the low price of $0.99
It is under Tools and is called LED Flashlight.
Please go and post (good) reviews.
I reduced the button size and will be upgrading to lock the portrait orientation soon.

grats man!
a couple questions...
1.) what kind of battery usage are we talking here? how long do you think you could leave the light on? not that i would leave it on for hours. just curious.
2.) is there any danger of burning out the bulbs? i mean they are led so i doubt it. but since they were intended to be on for fractions of a second at a time, i wonder if keeping them on for a lot longer would do any harm...
thanks!

Good questions. I'm sure we will be getting more information on battery usage soon. I would not expect any damage to the LEDs, but can not guarantee.
