Default wifi hotspot app for DROID?

not sure if this has been asked before but i was just wondering if there was an app available to make the droid into a wifi hotspot, either on or off the market.

If you can't find an app, this Cradlepoint is rechargable:

Yea and you can buy a smaller nicer one from VZW just the same... But the goal is to not have to pay for an additional data connection.

Hmm. Well, if you're willing to use Bluetooth instead of Wi-Fi, PdaNet will allow you to do that nicely. But it's not a true "hotspot" in that (I think) only one device can connect to it at a time.

Device needs to be rooted before anything like this can happen.

The only thing i've achieved similar to this is with proxoid for usb tethering.
