Default Scratchy voice quality?

I didn't see anything about scratchy voice on MY end, just other's end. Anyone else have the issue?

Everything sounds fine and loud, except a consistent scratch in the background.

Does the programming thing help for that? Or is that just on their end?

Granted, actually talking on the phone is the LAST reason I bought it, but for the couple times I actually do use the phone part, it's annoying.

Where are you located? I'm curious if I should return the phone for a different one, or if it's my service in general.

I actually have pretty poor sound quality on my end during a call. Hoping the update might help.

The update didn't help me as well. It's about the same voice quality.

However, the other caller says I sound fine. So I can live with it. Not like I use the phone for talking anyway.
