I have a leather pouch, clear VZW hard case, and the VZW shell/holster combo. Wasn't pleased with any of those (fit, bulkiness, clip, etc.). I have settled on the droid wallet from myDroidWallet - Best Droid Wallet Case..

Please give us your full review on this droid wallet. It looks like an interesting concept but answering calls seems like an extra hassle unless the phone will just slide out of the wallet? Also, how will the wallet feel/fold over with now droid in it? anyways i realize you probably can't answer these questions now but whoever has one or bought can hopefully provide us with a review

Heres a video showing how it slides in the droid walletYouTube - myDroidWallet.com - iPocketWallet 3.0 liteI'm sure it would be a pain if you are texting back and forth with someone, and constantly having to pull it out. I just like having everything together. If I'm texting someone, i'll just throw it in my pocket until the convo is done, then put it back in the wallet. It might be a nice thing for the ladies as well as they can have all their stuff together and just throw it in their purse. There are some videos on there showing cards, money, etc. in there as well, plus the reviews are really good. Hopefully those reviews aren't the people that work for them.

I found this case at my local frys electronics and was able to test my droid in it.

  • It fits perfectly, like it was built for it.
  • It's slim and keeps the droid close to the belt.
  • It has a magnetic closure, but does not activate any of the dock modes (check as soon as i got it home where it was dark enough to see).
  • It's genuine leather
  • It has a strong clip
  • And it was only $20 at frys.
  • Edit: It matches my leather jacket!

As you can see, it's even cheaper on amazon, but you'd need to spend 25$ to get free shipping, I wish i'd known about it before I did my amazon order for christmas presents last week, Oh well, but it has my whole-hearted recommendation.

Thats pretty close to what I'm looking for. If you could use the droid without taking it out of the wallet I'd be happy. I want somehting that opens like that but doesn't cover the droid screen when open so I can just flip it open and use. Remember like 20 years ago when people used checkbooks, how they had a cover that they attached to and ou just flipped it open?

Default Good Droid Case

I found a stong belt case for $15 at one of the mall cell phone kiosks that works great.
No magnets, velcro flap, good belt clip, hangs verically, easy access to the Droid.

The "brand name" on the case is Reiko, they had a few styles so if you go looking for it this bring the Droid along to try out the size.

The hard snap on clear blue case the verizon rep forced down my throat seams to be working better than I though, and it doubles at making it look slightly less fugly of a phone

Got you all beat, both in price and fit. This case works so great for the Droid and you won't find one much cheaper unless you steal it or get it free. My boss also has a Droid and had me buy him one, he liked it so much. I also have the rubberized front on my Droid and it fits right in. Enjoy, and he has quite a few of them. You can thank me later after you get it! It's not a cheap leather case as you might expect for the price.

I literally have no idea what the heck you could possibly be implying with that post.

It has magnets for the closure. That will turn on the dock(s) and drain the battery while in the case if the owner isn't careful.

Sorry, But it has been discussed 1000 times that Droid and Magnets don't get along to well in the sack.

I've had no problems with this case, nor has my boss with his. The Droid stays off when in the case. The magnets are not a factor.

EDIT: The battery drain is not there. No different than having it out of the case. Must be positioning of the magnet flap.
