Default DIY Car Mount

Hey guys.

I built my own car mount and want to get your opinions on it. I wanted to design my self because I REALLY didn't want another thing sticking off my windshield or out of a cup holder. This a the 2nd version of it and im already planing the next version to be a solid black Plexiglas instead of the clear. I didn't count on the tape I used to be gray. Take a look and let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

Oh, well its a great position for me. Its really not that low but it beats using the cup holder mount. From my experience with different mounts and their positions this is really very safe place to put it. I don't have to extend to far to answer a call or start the GPS.
