Default Highlight multiple icons?

Hi all,

How can I highlight multiple desktop icons at once? And once done, can I "mass" delete them by dragging to the trash like I can with only one?

Thanks!

Chris

I don't think there's a multiple select feature on the home screens.

That's a real shame... but the related area I really wish had a multi-select feature is when adding application shortcuts to the home screen. I've installed so many apps that there's a 15-30 second delay to actually display the list of installed apps from which to pick... and since I have to do this over and over for each shortcut I want to add, it's a very frustrating and lengthy process.

Since building the scrollable list of apps appears to be such a resource-intensive task, you'd think the "add application shortcut" function would at least cache the results temporarily so subseqent shortcuts could be added much more quickly than the firstt!

+100000

Always wondered why loading the application list takes so long when adding shortcuts.
