Default Download manager for android

I was wondering if anybody knew of a really good download manager for android. I use flashget on my computer for downloading things from rapidshare, where I have to put in passwords for every download. Is there anything that can do this? Thanks

I have yet to see a download manager like what you are looking for. In fact, the DROID will not natively allow you to download file types that it doesn't know. Of course, there are work-arounds.

The only thing I would suggest is that you go to the Market and install Linda File Manager. It's an app that allows you to download just about anything to your sdcard. It also contains many other useful pieces parts to it; i.e. a File Explorer, an Application Manager, and a Task Manager.
