Every time my phone enters standby after reboot the screen freezes. The phone was rooted and had Miui installed and had been functioning correctly then the screen started looking up. I went back and Reset back to the factory but it still is looking up any ideas. I have read of people having this problem and they all say hardware issue but why would it only do it after standby. That makes me think it is software.

Which kernel are you using? Are you using any sort of under volting process, under clocking on stand-by? Were you using SetCPU, etc?

Factory reset? Did you just do a hard reset, or did you flash back to stock?
