Default OC Help (No ADB?)

Hi everyone... I want to upgrade my overclock to either 1.1 or 1.3 ghz with one of taz's kernals. I can do this easily with a nadroid backup. What I need help with is his wifi driver update that allows wifi after upgrading the kernal. Do I have to use adb to do this? I'd rather not because I haven't set it up yet (terminal emulator has worked fine with the past things I've done). So Is it possible to to this with a terminal emulator on the phone? Thanks!

I don't see why not. I think you can also use Droid Root Explorer.

Yes.

And if you're talking about Tas' instructions, be wary he abbreviated the mount instructions.

They should be

mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/mtd/mtdblock4 /system

and

mount -o ro,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/mtd/mtdblock4 /system
