Default Way to quickly disable incoming text sounds?

My music constantly cuts out when I receive a text message. Anyone know how to make this stop quickly without going into all the phone's settings and disabling everything? Or using the volume rocker? Thanks.

There are several volume widgets available that will do this for you. I use the one called "VolumeWidget". It allows you to setup three volume profiles that are selectable at the tap of a finger. You could have a "Day", a "Night" and a "No Text" profile.

You will still get the pause in music I think though, even with a silent notification...
