Default Google buzz widget

Just downloaded from the market, pretty neat. Also has a latitude widget if you still use that.

Sent from a Motorola Droid using opera mini 5

Just curious what real-world benefit you get from buzz?

Seems to me it's a Google branded Twitter, but I have never really used either one short of trying it out a few times. I might just try it out a little more in depth and see what it's all about.

it's more locale based that twitter ever could be.. I use buzz quite a bit to see what's going on around town.

Another handy aspect of Buzz is that it's very easy to follow conversation flow. It's more like the newer "conversation" text flow, as opposed to Twitter being more like older dumb phones with basic texting.

Yup, I prefer it to Twitter but there just isn't as many people using it yet. The ability to comment directly on someones post is what sets it apart. In Twitter sometimes you need to be a detective to figure out what someone is replying to.

How do you forward it to Twitter. As far as I know, the two are not linked. You can dump Twitter into Buzz, but not the other way around... yet.

I believe you are correct, that you cannot go Buzz to Twitter yet. I like buzz, like the geoloc feature but keep coming back to the App Anypost and the Ping service, with that I can upload a location and pic and status update that gets pushed out to multiple services, except buzz.

Rumors that Facebook is added geoloc features soon too.
