Notsure FB notification not working?

So my FB app doesnt re-up any FB notifications for some reason. It has been two solid days and on my phone it says I haven't had any notifications for 2 days on FB... while on the reg site (from my comp) I have had approx 15. Why isn't my FB app getting notifications?

My FB app doesn't update notifications automatically. I am not sure there is a setting, but to be honest, I don't use FB that much on my phone, and when I do, I usually use it just to post an update.

However, with that being said, you can manually update your notifications. When you are in the facebook app, click notifications, then when the notification screen comes up, press menu>refresh. This works for me.

Mine is supposed to check every 30 mind but lately it hasn't. Have never noticed a battery drain from it. Even with email sync which actually works

The funny thing is I have never gotten a notification from the facebook app. I am able to get emails almost immediately but that is it. I really wish that there was a fix for this but the emails are just as good I suppose.

I *am* getting notifications from FB - but what I did was log out, then log back in, then set FB to sync (choose how you want it to sync) and finally changed the frequency to 30 minutes.

Works like a champ now. I get notifications about pokes, new messages, etc - something that has never worked in the past.

I dont get them either. I installed Bloo so that I get notifications, and use Facebook app for everything else. Was the only way I could get my notifications.

If you're still getting notifications after logging off, try rebooting the phone after having logged off from the app.

You need to turn sync on, go to your contacts and turn on sync option for fb.

Does anyone know how to add/change/delete the FB contacts that sync with contacts in phone? My uncle is named Chris and his son is named Christopher...well for some reason FB decided to sync Uncle Chris's info into Christopher's contact file. I've tried to edit it and it says thats not allowed. I would prefer just not to have any FB contacts if its gonna be incorrect...so frustrating. On the HTC Eris when u go in contacts it has a FB link that opens your friend lists and lets you match contact n FB up...very nice and user friendly. Would be nice to see Moto use it
