Default Gmail security settings

Is there any way to password protect ur Gmail account? When accessing through the app I would like to have to enter a security code or password to be able to access or even switching between multiple Gmail accounts . Is this possible?

Simple. Log out of the account thru the app. You will still sync.

There's apps like App Protector that makes you put a password on certain apps before it lets you use it. It should be in the market. I think it's free too.
