Here are some of the reasons….
1. The phone has no security… lock it, put it into a car dock… Walla it’s unlocked.
2. The browser will not allow you to shrink or expand certain web pages.
3. The browser will not let you open certain pull-downs, then it will if you change the orientation.
4. The phone will not work with 4g.
5. The camera on my Desire was taking better pictures with a 5 mpx, vs Electrify’s 8 mpx.
Two tricks with the Electrify, if the clamshell case you bought doesn’t fit in car dock, take case off, file the case where the usb/hdmi opening is about an eighth of an inch longer on either side of the opening, put case back on phone… fits! You can charge when in kickstand mode, flip the phone over, kickstand is strong enough.
I am really miffed at US Cellular. Not one phone in their stores is being sold as 4g/dual band capable, even though they are unveiling 4g next month. I’m guessing it’s some sort of a ploy to design/charge for different data plans. Wondering how the belife plan will hold up?

my understanding is that 4G (at least here in Maine) has been pushed back to January at the earliest and that they will not offer a 4G phone until the system is available.

The 4G is only being released to their top-grossing sales locations. There are a very few of them and unfortunately for me, Chicagoland isn't one of them.

Those are some annoying issues, but they dont seem to really be discrediting to the phone enough to make me change my mind on the purchase. I talked to a USCC rep about the 4G, and they said that although all current phones pre-4G release will not be 4G compatible, they do plan on releasing a series of phones that are 4G-ready once the location they're selling them in flips on the switch.

I'm not too bummed about the lack of 4G on the Electrify (although it would make the phone a hell of a lot better) since I primarily use data when I'm at home and on WiFi. Otherwise, I just use 3G for Pandora.

Have you checked all the settings in the browser options?
Have you tried recreating the problems in a 3rd party browser? (Dolphin, for example)
Have you tested the camera in different lightings? (According to other forums, the 8MP camera is supposed to drown out excessive darkness and allow shadowed figures to expose in color on the screen allowing for a better view.)
Have you tried using a PIN/Password/Pattern locks?
Have you tried a 3rd party lock? (WidgetLocker, for example)

Motorola Vehicle Nav Dock w/Window-Dash Mount Mount

This was my first post on the Motorola Car Dock, and the phone/hardshell case fitting in to it. I am using the USCC hardshell case/holster. There may be an ultra slim case that may also work.

I spoke with US cellular and they said when the 4G is active the cost of the current data plans cost for Belife plan customers will not change. the price of data will stay the same, so they say.

I agree with you 100%. The htc Desire's camera is much better tho less megapixels than the Motorola's Electrify. I wondered when someone else would notice that. The images are not as sharp, the colors are not as true and everything is darker, even tho I tried adjusting it. I guess I will carry my Desire with me when I travel for the camera part. Wish I had bought the htc Hero. And the software for managing the photos & albums is awkward with little or no directions.
