Default Language settings, keyboards and displays

How do I enter the letters: Ä,ä and Ö,ö from the keypads?

I've found the language settings (which I have set to UK-English)

Hoping the device is capable of being used for all Western European languages.

Try just long-pressing A and O and you should see those. If you want them in caps, press Shift and then long-press the letter.
