Question Updatre to 2.3?

Hello,

How are the software updates done? My friends with android devices already got the 2.3 version. How do I do the update to 2.3 my phone?

You can also try an unofficial ROM from here:

[ROM]MS2GingerBeta5 - Gingerbread 2.3.4 for Milestone 2 - 10-08-2011 - xda-developers

I installed it and it works great.

The explanation in there is not perfect, so if you have any questions let me know, I struggled for a moment too.

Thanks for link. It seems quite tedious. I wil ty it some time when I get a few empty days. If something goes wrong during the process, is it easy to get back the 2.2 version?

It is very easy to get back to 2.2. Just oot into bootloader and flash a 2.2 ROM.
