How to get back the stock SMS application to my rooted Milestone 2?
The problem is that I can't copy back SMS application from SD card (backups/apps folder) to the system/app folder. I always get the answer " Text Messaging_2.2.apk copy failed"

Have you made sure that the folder is RW and not RO? When you succeed remember to change permission of the file and reboot for it to start working again.

Thanks for reply. How can I be sure that the folder (probably you mean system/app folder) is RW and not RO?

I checked with ES File Explorer the folder system/app is readable but not writable.How can i change the permission?I have also ROM ToolBox installed.

I am not sure about ES File Explorer, but in Root Toolbox there is an option to mark system as RW.
