i just got my new motorola and the batt. has been going down fast. so with some advice downloaded a app killer and it got better. now i noticed that when i put it in my holder on my belt the screen is lit and it thinks its in the holder on the dash of my truck. can someone tell me how to keep it from going into moto mode.

Remove the magnet from the belt case.

Also, the task killer advice wasn't necessarily good. Have a read of this and make up your own mind, but I prefer to trust Android's memory-management and reserve task killing for individual apps when I know they're misbehaving:
