Speaker always on

My milestone with Telus has a very annoying issue.

Everytime I try to made a phone call or receive one, the speaker is always on. I need to manually press the speaker button on the screen in order to disable it EVERY TIME.

I am running 2.3 with CM7.

Can any one help?

I've got the same problem. Did anyone solve that?
I'm running Android 2.2.1.
