Possiby the date given on a German forum (I think) of 13th Jan (this weds) might be correct.

Or even earlier

Tried to recall where I read it - I think it was the Motorola Support Forum for germany (.de) and was given in a reply from a support person to a customer. I've seen others talking about that date being muted certainly for German update or the start of the roll out.

Not set in stone, but that date was mentioned.

Here was the first place I saw the 13th as the date, I think:

Nothing sure, but Moto did come right out and say that a service update for the 'stone would drop directly, followed by 2.1 "within the next 2 months". So the 13th is as good a date as any.

Sounds like we are just waiting for Google then.

Hopefully they aren't too busy with Nexus One issues...
